How does a Dsg Work?
DSG stands for Direct-Shift Gearbox, and it incorporates the best of both worlds into its design. Using an advanced electro-hydraulic control module to control clutch application and gear shifting, the DSG can bring the comfort of a full automatic to the table while obtaining the greater efficiency of the gears. It uses a clutch assembly, where a single clutch is responsible for even gears and another for gears, improving shifting quality further.
